Opportunity Scholarship
The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce Opportunity Scholarships are for Hispanic Adult individuals who earned their high school degree or GED at least one year ago, and that demonstrate significant financial need and desire for post secondary education in pursuit of career goals. They must be a resident of New Mexico. The Scholarship Committee will consider financial need, letters of recommendation, and a written essay. Download file below.
High School Students can only apply to one, either the AHCC Scholarship or La Beca del Alcalde.
The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce scholarships awards are designed to provide recognition for educational and leadership qualities to graduating Hispanic high school seniors that will be attending an institution of higher learning. They must be a resident of New Mexico. The Scholarship committee will consider educational achievement, leadership qualities, letter of recommendation, written essay and strong financial need. - La Beca del Alcalde
La Beca del Alcalde, esta diseñada para otorgar reconocimiento a aquellos estudiantes hispanos graduando de secundaria que han demostrado cualidades de liderazgo y que asistiran a la Universidad de Nuevo Mexico (CNM o UNM). El Comite de Becas considerara los logros educativos del estudiante y sus cualidades. La consideracion tambien requerira una carta de recomendacion, un ensayo y la demostracion de una alta necesidad financiera. Descargar el archivo.
